- Staying abreast of the latest advancements in ML, deep learning, NLP, transformers, large language models, and generative AI, and assess their potential application within our product offering.
- Driving continuous improvement in ML processes, methodologies, and best practices to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship across the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on ML-related topics, effectively communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
About You:
- 8+ years in software with 5+ in an ML/AI domain and 3+ in ML/AI leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering customer-facing ML functionality into production within a startup environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in at least one of PyTorch or TensorFlow, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying ML models.
- Expertise in setting up ML systems in AWS, including familiarity with relevant AWS services and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of ML techniques, such as deep learning, NLP, transformers, large language models, and generative AI.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in a similar role, overseeing ML projects and driving successful execution.
